Sunday School

About

Sunday school is an opportunity for you to get connected with other believers and grow in your relationship to Christ through in depth study of the Bible in a small group setting.

We encourage adults to visit several adult classes until you find the one that best suits your needs.

Time

Sunday school classes are at 9:00am every Sunday morning.. Check out our classes below.

Preschool

Little ones from baby through 3 years old are lovingly cared for in our Preschool Class, which is located off of the fellowship hall, opposite the church office. At this age in Sunday School, they are learning through story, songs and play that God loves them and that they can show love to God too. Toddlers will enjoy the colorful illustrations of the Gospel Light lesson materials, including the sticker activity pages for each Bible lesson which are just right for little hands. Children are never too young to learn about God's love.

Children

Pre-K through 2nd Grade

Children from age 4 through 2nd grade meet in a classroom in the basement below the sanctuary, and are learning to value and understand God's Word through Bible reading, hands-on activities, music and play. The lessons are from the Answers Bible Curriculum, a chronological overview of God's Word that equips us as believers to defend the authority of the Bible and honor Christ as we apply Scripture to our everyday lives. The lessons cover the same weekly topic as the other children's & youth class and the “Under Construction” adult class, facilitating family discipleship and discussion at home.

Grades 3rd through 5th

This fun group of young people, grades 3 – 5 are meeting in the basement under the sanctuary. They are learning to read and study their Bibles for themselves and to trust the authority of God's Word through lessons, music and activities in the Answers Bible Curriculum. This is a chronological overview of God's Word that equips us as believers to defend the authority of the Bible and honor Christ as we apply Scripture to our everyday lives. The lessons cover the same weekly topic as the other children's & youth classes and the “Under Construction” adult class, facilitating family discipleship and discussion at home.

Youth

Our youth group is made up of Middle School and High School students (6th through 12th grade). We meet in a large, casual room in the east basement below the fellowship hall. The stairs are found on the east side of the building in our middle foyer. We teach our students to value and study God's Word, to grow spiritually, and to serve God with their time and talents, even now as a young person. Our Bible study is from the Answers Bible Curriculum, which is a chronological overview of God's Word that equips us as believers to defend the authority of the Bible and honor Christ as we apply Scripture to our everyday lives. The lessons cover the same weekly topic as the children's classes and the “Under Construction” adult class, facilitating family discipleship and discussion at home.

Adults

Dynamic Disciples

Our lessons are topical studies guided by the Explore the Bible by Lifeway, which are designed to help people connect God's Word to their lives in an intentional way. We strive to know God's Word through trustworthy Bible study content, create biblical community through engaging and conversational group studies, and engage our culture missionally by unpacking what the Bible says about real-life issues. Our group meets in the basement below the sanctuary and consists of young men & women, single or couples. We welcome anyone who would like to join us in studying God's Word and building friendships with one another.

Under Construction

This class is named to remind us all that none of us have it all together in life. We are all “projects under construction,” and God is still shaping and developing us. Our Bible study lessons are from the Answers Bible Curriculum, which is a chronological overview of God's Word that equips us as believers to defend the authority of the Bible and honor Christ as we apply Scripture to our everyday lives. Families with children and youth will appreciate that these same lessons and scriptures are being simultaneously taught in their respective classes. This encourages family discipleship, as it makes it easy to discuss and reinforce the lessons at home throughout the week. Our group currently meets in the basement below the sanctuary and consists of adults of all ages, singles and couples.

Senior Ambassadors

This class normally meets in a room to the right of the fellowship hall. The lessons are guided by the Lifeway Bible Studies for Life, which are designed to help people connect God's Word to their lives in an intentional way. We strive to know God's Word through trustworthy Bible study content, create biblical community through engaging and conversational group studies, and engage our culture missionally by unpacking what the Bible says about real-life issues. The groups consists mainly of senior adults, however younger adults are also welcome.

The J.O.Y. Class

The women of the J.O.Y. class are of various ages and walks of life. We currently meet in a room to the right of the fellowship hall. Our Bible study lessons are from Explore the Bible by Lifeway, a book-by-book Bible study that takes participants deep into the context of God's Word and challenges them to live it out in their own context. We are a caring, encouraging and welcoming group of women who love serving the Lord and being together. We are always looking for new friends to include in our circle.

The Pastor's Class

The pastor is currently teaching through the Gospel of John. His class meets in the Worship Center. This is a great class if you are looking for a verse-by-verse Bible Study. The pastor makes three promises to those who attend his class. (1) He will not call on you to pray. (2) He will not ask you to read the Bible out loud. (3) You can ask him any question that is on your mind. Knowing that some questions and answers are more personal than others, he may choose to answer your question after class.
